Cordelia Grimes, LCSW, CCATP

Cordelia received her Master of Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from DePaul University Chicago. She has extensive experience working with children, young adults, adults, and parent-child/child-parent relationships in a variety of settings. She approaches her work with patience and curiosity while gently challenging clients to actively live in alignment with their values and goals. Cordelia has received extensive training to become a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety, depression and related disorders, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for emotion regulation, distress tolerance and mindfulness, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She has a specialized interest in working with Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders and supporting women and men as they navigate their transitions into their new roles as parents. By incorporating empirically-supported treatments with a collaborative and authentic approach, Cordelia aims to create an affirming space for clients to practice living according to their values and goals.
