Chantanique is certified in CBT for Anxiety & OCD and has completed the extensive clinical training program through the Center for Anxiety Training. She is a licensed social worker and received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She received her Master of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago with a concentration in Mental Health. Chantanique participated in an integrated behavioral health care training program in which she received a certificate in Evidence-Based Mental Health Practice with Children. Through this program, she received training in the use of evidence-based interventions, such as CBT, TF-CBT, MATCH-ATDC, and parent management training for the treatment of a variety of mental health issues. She has clinical experience in providing individual and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults who experience symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD.
Chantanique strives to establish a strong therapeutic alliance with individuals through collaboration and by taking a strengths-based approach. She is passionate about helping individuals identify and utilize their strengths to better themselves and successfully manage challenges, while also helping clients add new skills and strategies to their “toolkit.”
