Camila De Azevedo, M.Ed., LPC, CCATP
Camilla is a certified CBT for Anxiety & OCD specialist and has completed the clinical training program through the Center for Anxiety Training. Camila‘s clinical background includes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for anxiety disorders (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and Anxiety Disorders, CBT for Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has received her Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University as well as her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Camila’s educational background includes Psychology of Human Development, Early Childhood Development and Education. She is certified in Early Childhood Mental Health and specializes in experiential and child-parent psychotherapy for children and adolescents, which include parenting education, anxiety disorders, ADHD, oppositional-defiant and disruptive behavior disorders, as well as trauma, divorce and adoption issues. Camila is also passionate about working with young adults struggling with anxiety and relationship issues, as well as LGBTQA+ individuals. As a native of Brazil, Camila can provide treatment in Portuguese. Her approach is compassionate and culturally-sensitive CBT therapy with a whole-person perspective.
