She holds a Bachelors in Psychology and Applied Behavioral Science from the University of Kansas. Beliciaβs expertise lies in bridging the gap between humanistic and medical models, with a focus on offering clients practical tools and individualized support based on each clientβs unique clinical history, biology, and needs.
Her extensive training and experience encompass various areas, including chronic health, mind-body approaches, CBT I (insomnia), and CBT for pain management. Belicia is skilled in providing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and crisis interventions for anxiety and related disorders, depression, OCD, ADHD, life transitions, identity, and relationship challenges.
Additionally, she has worked with individuals and groups in Expressive Art Therapy. She adopts a collaborative treatment model tailored to each clientβs unique presentation and values system. Belicia utilizes evidence-based, trauma-focused interventions such as ERP for OCD, ACT and DBT to assist clients in enhancing their life and ability to manage anxiety, depression, and traumas.
