Anita Opdycke, DNP, APRN, NP-C

Dr. Anita Opdycke is certified in CBT for Anxiety & OCD and has completed the extensive clinical training program through the Center for Anxiety Training.  She is a licensed Adult Nurse Practitioner who received a doctoral degree in Public Health from Rush University in 2019. Anita started her career in transplant nursing at Rush University in 2006. She completed a master’s in nursing with a focus on Adult Health from Rush in 20012. She has been working as a primary care nurse practitioner in a college health setting for the past eight years. Her experience in college healthcare prompted her to pursue additional board certification in psychiatric nursing as she began to see the intersection of behavioral health and primary care. She comes to Light on Anxiety as a behavioral specialist and looks forward to working with all age ranges, modalities, and specialized areas.
