Amy graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Culture before embarking on her journey as a Master’s candidate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at DePaul University. With a passion for working with children and adolescents, Amy brings a compassionate and collaborative approach to her therapy practice.
Drawing from her training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Amy is dedicated to supporting clients in moving through and past anxiety as rapidly as possible. Her areas of focus include depression, various forms of anxiety, body dysmorphia, disordered eating, and ADHD. She also specializes in providing affirming and inclusive care to clients in the LGBTQIA+ community.
Amy’s therapeutic philosophy revolves around empowerment and collaboration, as she partners with clients to set and achieve meaningful goals. She is committed to helping individuals rediscover their confidence and resilience on their journey to well-being.
