Alix Golub, LSW

Alix is a certified in CBT for Anxiety & OCD Specialist and has completed the extensive clinical training program through the Center for Anxiety Training. Alix received her Master of Social Work from University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice (SP2) and her Bachelor of Social Work from University of Pittsburgh. She has clinical experience working with adolescents, adults, and older adults in skilled nursing and outpatient settings facilitating group and individual therapy. Her background includes working with clients who experience symptoms related to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, complex trauma and PTSD.
Alix believes that therapy is a journey of self discovery and offers a personalized and collaborative approach to help each client work towards personal growth. Her therapeutic approach includes using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Psychodynamic theories through strengths-based and anti-oppressive frameworks. Through compassion, warmth, empathy, and humor, Alix strives to challenge and help her clients feel empowered in a safe and supportive setting.
