Ashley Plantz, MSW
Ashley received both her Master of Social Work and Bachelors of Science in Psychology degrees at Loyola University Chicago. Ashley’s clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents and young adults in a variety of mental health and school settings. In addition, Ashley received her Illinois Type 73 school social work certification and has worked with children of varying needs, gaining experience in the 504/IEP process.
Ashley has experience in working with individuals experiencing various concerns, such as: anxiety, depression, body image issues, life transitions, and behavioral issues. Her therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Play Therapy. She provides a strengths-based, holistic perspective to best support her client’s needs and their journey to wellness. Ashley believes that the act of being heard, understood, and supported is healing in itself. Through providing a compassionate and affirming environment, Ashley empowers and promotes self-exploration, resilience, and flourishing within her clients.
