I am always on the lookout for informative podcasts that are also entertaining to listen to. I highly suggest Debbie Reber’s Tilt Parenting podcast, which interviews experts in the field of parenting, psychology and education, relating to parenting differently-wired kids, particularly those with learning disabilities, ADHD, and emotional regulation issues. One of the most interesting topics that caught my attention lately, was with guest speaker Susan Stiffelman, writer of the book “Parenting Without Power Struggles.” Through an approach based on mindfulness and intentionality, Susan suggest different ways in which parents can be emotionally present during conflicts with their children, while remaining assertive at the same time.
