We all know (and more to the point feel) that the world is currently simultaneously facing several major challenges, among them shocks to the economy, health, and climate. Word choice is important here. ‘Challenges’ implies something that is difficult but not impossible to get past. The key to hope is framing coupled to action, not denial of or disconnecting from reality, but rather finding the good somewhere and engaging to improve what one can.
