ight on Anxiety offers a skills-based group for adults with anxiety and/or panic, led by DBT trained therapist Alyssa Hakimian, LCPC, NBCC. The purpose of this group to help individuals better manage the distress and discomfort associated with anxiety.
This Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) group is skills-based, focusing on developing effective coping skills for life experiences.
This group provides the knowledge and space to practice various skills. Participants will learn skills to enhance mindfulness, tolerate distress, regulate emotions and become more effective in interpersonal relationships. These skills assist in decreasing unwanted behaviors and lead towards a life worth living.
